Winners of all competitions must sign a release form acknowledging that they have read and understand the contest rules and that they are eligible under the contest rules to receive the prize.

Employees of Coast & County Radio, all organisations providing prizes, any other radio station in Yorkshire, their participating sponsors, their agencies, and their immediate families are all ineligible to participate.

Coast & County Radio reserves the right to disqualify any contestant if competition rules are not followed, the contestant is found ineligible, or the contestant has engaged in fraudulent behaviour.

All contestants acknowledge as a condition of entry that Coast & County Radio, all organisations providing prizes, and their participating sponsors have the right to publicise and broadcast his/her name, likeness and voice.

All prizes are non-transferable for other prizes or to other persons, and not redeemable for cash. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.

Additional rules may be added by Coast & County Radio at its discretion, as long as the rule change is announced and not implemented until the day following the announcement.

Any contestant winning a prize or accumulation of prizes valued at over £500 may not win another prize valued at £500 or more from Coast & County Radio for 12 months following the winning of the original prize. In the event a contestant does win a second prize, they keep the original prize but additional prizes will be forfeited.

These rules are broad in nature and all contestants and winners should be aware that Coast & County Radio reserves the right to establish competition rules that are specific to a particular competition. In case of conflicting competition rules, the rules of the specific competition shall take precedence.

Coast & County Radio is not responsible for illegible, late, lost or misdirected entries or for any telecommunications malfunction included but not limited to any local or national telephone service provider, mobile phone company, or internet access provider including Coast & County Radio’s internal telephone and internet systems.

Competitions are open to everyone who is at least 18 years of age and lives within Scarborough Borough or Ryedale unless otherwise stated.

Information collected by Coast & County Radio in connection with entering or participating in any station contest may be shared with sponsors of the particular contest in accordance with the station’s privacy policy.
